Two things got easier this month: seeing anti-money laundering (AML) risk across your whole client base in real time, and keeping review tasks moving without duplicated work. Here's what's new in Thirdfort.
Firm-wide insights
Ask most compliance teams for a firm-wide anti-money laundering (AML) risk picture and they'll get you one. Eventually. The data exists, but it's spread across systems, requires manual extraction and takes ages to compile. By the time it's ready, it's already out of date.
That's what the Firm-wide insights dashboard changes.
The Firm-wide insights dashboard is a live, interactive view of AML risk across every client, every check and every transaction your firm has run through Thirdfort's platform. It surfaces patterns and concentrations of risk that only become visible at scale, and puts them somewhere your whole compliance function can see and act on, in real time.

Come back to a task later
Recently we implemented a new feature allowing clients on Thirdfort's compliance tier to manage client due diligence tasks, such as escalations and reviews, from within the platform. Now users can assign a task to themselves to come back to later. Doing so removes the task from your team's queue and adds it to your personal list. Meaning no work is duplicated and everyone has clear visibility of who will review each task.

Take control of who reviews tasks
Users could already set who has permissions to review tasks, but to give you complete control and allow escalations to fit to your processes, you can now stipulate a "four-eyes review" process, meaning that the person who creates a check is not able to review the results. Instead it must be reviewed by another user who holds the correct permissions. This can be toggled on in an organisation's settings, helping to protect you from internal fraud and errors. All reviews are captured automatically in the activity log on each check, so you have a defensible audit trail without any additional admin.

Better visibility of the document issue jurisdiction
To help you better understand the geographic risk of a client you'll now see information on the jurisdiction that issued an identity document within our report. This data will feed into your firm-wide insights dashboard so you have a clear idea of where risk sits across your portfolio.
