Our Client Experience team is responsible for a detailed web portal that is used by our B2B clients- primarily lawyers and estate agents. The web app is written in React and we are transitioning this to a new web app built in NextJS. We are cloud hosted and have a JSON REST API backend (primarily Node.js and GO), microservices architecture and cryptographically secure sensitive data storage. We also have a Consumer Experience team that build out native iOS & Android mobile apps which are the key consumer facing interface.

Engineering at Thirdfort

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Client Experience team within the Engineering function and contribute to the building out of our new client-facing Next.js web portal as well as represent frontend engineering across the function.

Our Client Experience team is responsible for a detailed web portal that is used by our B2B clients- primarily lawyers and estate agents. The web app is written in React and we are transitioning this to a new web app built in NextJS. We are cloud hosted and have a JSON REST API backend (primarily Node.js and GO), microservices architecture and cryptographically secure sensitive data storage. We also have a Consumer Experience team that build out native iOS & Android mobile apps which are the key consumer facing interface.

Our Product and Tech teams are remote first and so this individual can be based anywhere in the UK. This does not mean though that our remote first team aren’t welcome in our offices as we value the times when we can come together in person. Ultimately we trust our team to work in the way that suits them best.


<li>Be an effective feature leader for frontend projects, pragmatically suggesting and implementing solutions to immediate problems while considering the long-term implications of the chosen direction.</li><li>Mentor and elevate other engineers while upholding the highest standards of modern web development with a focus on data-driven decision making.</li><li>Represent the client experience team across the engineering function and liaise with the wider organisation including client support to aid development of our product.</li><li>Factor security and privacy when crafting solutions and pragmatically reviewing other engineer’s Pull Requests.</li><li>Participate in our hiring process to help us build a world class team of engineers.</li>

<li>Has significant experience building responsive, performant web apps with modern web frameworks and design systems</li><li>Has experience and understanding with our tech stack that includes: NextJS and/or React (we use NextJS hosted on GCP), Typescript, and Modern CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Can independently &amp; collaboratively craft testable solutions for advanced web features</li><li>Has experience working with both greenfield and legacy projects, identifying bottlenecks and suggesting improvements</li><li>Has worked effectively in a team with product owners, designers and other stakeholders</li><li>Cares deeply about the UX, UI and accessibility of web platforms and knows how to feedback to design with these in mind</li><li>Can communicate complex topics with stakeholders of varying technical ability and can generate buy in for new concepts.</li><li>Has worked with internal APIs and understands how to influence teams building services the platform relies on</li><li>Has built and maintained tests suites for unit and integration tests</li>

<li>Identifying and proactively sourcing new Strategic Partners through outbound activities - with tangible Partner ROI/ quantitive value attached and tracked.</li><li>Becoming an expert in all things Thirdfort and each of the industries we serve in order to understand which Partnerships would be the biggest opportunities for us.</li><li>Mapping out Consumer and Client workflows so we can maximise our Product offering through Partnerships where necessary.</li><li>Managing relationships with Strategic Partners and drive new leads and net new revenue from each Partner - with quantifiable value attached.</li><li>Acting as primary point of contact for all Strategic Partners ensuring that we are continually meeting their needs and expectations for the Partnership and drive increased Partner participation.</li><li>Liaising with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to understand and meet partner needs. Gathering and managing partner feedback; working with product teams to integrate these needs into the product roadmap. Working together with marketing to create partner-focused campaigns and materials.</li>

You will achieve your mission as our Strategic Partnerships Manager by: 

<li>Currently working in a ‘Partnership’ or similar Commercial role - ideally 3+ years of experience.</li><li>Experience of working in a SaaS company and with a technical product.</li><li>Experience working in a start-up environment with a growing team.</li><li>Can demonstrate success and track record in discovering and developing commercial relationships from scratch.</li><li>Can demonstrate success and track record in winning new partnerships/enterprise deals that have delivered significant revenue.</li><li>Experienced in negotiating complex commercial deals.</li><li>Helped to establish yourself within an industry e.g. formed a strong network of relationships, represented companies at industry events, part of industry forums etc.</li><li>Experience learning a technical product (ideally with an API).
